While setting out the layout, we had to take into account the specific nature of the product and the call for high functionality of the e-shop´s administration system. To use some existing generic platforms was out of the question. What we had here was a project of a fully customized e-shop which had to be adapted to our client´s requirements and to the product itself.
We knew that, for the e-shop users, the most important feature would be a simple navigation which would allow them to find quickly the results of their search. We decided, therefore, to focus on the development of basic and advanced UX filters.
Warehouse full – Launch the web!
The e-shop at 4light.sk is oriented on end customers and registered partners - wholesalers. Upon approval the registered partners get access to their account with a list of orders and accounting documents. After they are logged in, the registered partners can see their prices already with an automatically calculated wholesaler discount.
The administration system of the e-shop at 4light.sk was designed, developed and programmed only and solely according to our clients requirements, as a fully customized product. It can filter, import and export accounting and warehouse data using some of the advanced options, and, in the same time, offers an intuitive and highly sophisticated selector by which the accounting documents are generated.
The overall purchasing process works with more than 300 mail templates – bound respectively to a particular type of payment and shipment – which makes it transparent for the customer and provides all relevant information in due time. The administration of the selector is simple, logical and intuitive.
